Herein you will find a veritable baker's dozen of classic tracks from one of the best known trios in Southern gospel music. Songwriter Dottie Rambo, aided and abetted by husband Buck and daughter Reba, recorded over 50 albums before their divorce in the mid-90s. It couldn't have been easy to whittle down the list for this collection but fortunately it does include their best known song "He Looked Beyond My Fault" as well as their 1976 hit "Tears Will Never Stain The Streets Of That City". Always one to draw on personal experience when writing songs, Dottie considered them all to be her babies - be they wearing cowboy hats or satin and lace. As tends to be the pattern in Southern gospel music the songs you will find here were chiefly birthed in times of deep heartache. Dottie was once asked how come she had written so many great valley songs. Her response sums up this classic collection. "Honey, you have to go to Hawaii to write about Hawaii.so to write about the valley you have to go through the valley." Curiously, her songs of hard times are incredibly uplifting. Take a listen and you'll see what I mean.

This c.d. was great, It brought back old songs I grew up on and they are just as powerful as now as back then. We need more of the old songs back today the world is out of control. Listen to the songs and they will take you back in time when gospel was real.
