Like a number of other people telling their story here, I heard JD Lawtum at the small church on Camp King Army post in Oberursel, W. Germany (at the time) in the late 1980s. I bought both of his CDs (Song in the Night & Highway). I have since ripped them to MP3s so I could listen to them on my computer, my phone, & my tablet. I found the songs timeless and I never grow tired of listening to them (playing Song in the Night right now). Truly a talented artist!

I wish I could find my JD Lawtum cassette... can't remember the name of album, perhaps song in the night, but a part of a song I remember was, "Father in heaven, I praise you....Jesus Lord Jesus...Spirit Holy Spirit...what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul. Lord I'm taking my stand, I'm yours on demand, pleasing you is my life Lord." Something of that nature. Anyhow, I would really love it if I could come across a copy of that album.

October 1990, you sang in a small church on a U.S. Army base (Vilseck, Germany) I was on leave at the time, so I missed you, but my roommate, Gary Holman, bought tapes of your music for me. I absolutely loved all of it. Over the years, I have lost all of your music. Please send me information on how to acquire your music. Thank you.

I, too, heard J.D. in Germany in the early '80s and just found a picture given to us at that time. Is there any way to obtain his/your music?

I was in Europe in the 80's and my daughter at the time a teen went to see one of your concert. I discovered today while rummaging through some old things the cassette of Song in the Night. I have to contact my daughter who is now married and with a daughter to pass the cassette down. Blessings

Hi JD, Greetings from Africa. It has been a very long time since we were in last in contact. Seems like a lifetime has past. I have been married for 20 years & have 3 children. Still involved in local church worship & now motivational speaking too. Great to see your ministry still going strong. Look us up on Facebook. Would love to catch up again.
God Bless.......Beth (Boshoff) Ames

JD!
What a small world! I was part of a group that you toured to Germany with in 1984. My maiden name was Mark, but there were so many of us I don't even remember all the names.
I'd love to hear some of the music you had on the table at that time as well as your newer work.

Take care,
God's best

Donna Martin

Hi JD!

I hope you get this! You may not remember me but we stayed in the same room at the alpine in b-garten W. Germany way back in 1984-85?

I was in the army there at a Christian retreat. Nice to know you are still around. CAN YOU PLAY AT MY WEDDING BROTHER? God bless and take care.
