This is the second recording for singer/songwriter Amani. With a bit of hip hop, soul, gospel and even rap, this album is full of love songs from a Biblical perspective that Amani wrote for his wife. Throughout the album, he shares stories of his relationship with her, including their first meeting, his marriage proposal, their wedding, birthdays, anniversaries and children. The CD starts with an intro that simply says, "I believe people still fall in love. It still happens. I believe people still fall in love. It can happen to you." Although it's nice to know that Amani is really grateful to have found the true love of his life, I'm not too sure about releasing these obviously private songs to the world. Am I supposed to be inspired? To be honest I find it hard to relate to some of his personal stories and feelings. Good music but thematically it's a little like the guy who comes back from his holidays and shows four hours of slides. Just proves you can have too much of a good thing! Conclusion: Amani loves his wife. NEXT!

I love the fact that amani used both of the greatest things in life to show it to the world. His record was and still is one of the biggest hits to me. I encourage many people to listen to his songs and to just be reminded by the greatest love ever given to human kind, one from up above, and the other a special love between two people. I hope to hear new records soon from amani. I love his music and there a great inspiration for me. This article was okay but i disagree with the fact that it was personal, i know many people can relate to the lyrics and the songs are being used in some positive way. Keep up the good work Amani and God bless!

I agree with Danielle. This album is a wonderful album I can relate to almost all the songs(at least in the attitude that I love my wife and want to take care of her). "Time Out" hits especially home for me and my wife with her family, my family and our friends we are always running around. The first time we heard that we literally looked at each other and said I wish we could just chill. And when I proposed to my wife I actually played the "Intro" And "My Last Name" in the back ground. I absolutely love this album which was a surprise coming from Grapetree Records (if you followed the rise and fall of the label and its music you should understand what i mean). Everyone christian and non christian should have this in there collection. (if you have verizon wireless you can buy the whole album through the VCAST music and you can even download it from your phone to your computer). This album has a special spot in my wife and my relationship & life. GO FIND AND BUY THIS ALBUM.
