'60s/'70s soul stalwart Bobby Purify returns with new R&B album.

R&B SINGER Bobby Purify, who in the '60s and '70s recorded major R&B hits as half of James & Bobby Purify, has returned with his first commercial recording in more than a decade. Proper Records have released Bobby's 'Better To Have It' album, produced by Dan Penn.

I just want to thank you for not putting the false information on your site. You did a good job of not trying to tell Bobby's story a.k.a Ben. A lot of magazine writers are reporting that the album producer found him. Correction me and my father found him in a hole in the wall then we started up a band called the Black and Blues Band with Ben as the lead singer which has became very succsesful. Thanks for bieng ligit
